Pirate Rooms at Disney

I called Disney reservations today to make a slight change for our trip next July.  I had a very friendly and outgoing cast member who was telling me all kinds of interesting things coming up.  Some of the things I already mentioned in other posts such as the free admission for birthdays in 2009, and free dining in the next few months.

Then she told me that there are new Pirate Rooms at the Caribbean Resort.  A few years ago my kids were really into the pirate theme — maybe your kids still are.  Anyway, after I got off the phone I looked it up online and sure enough there’s some information on the Disney site about it.

The new pirate rooms won’t be available until January 2009 — but they look really cool.  They are located in the Trinidad South section of Disney Caribbean Resort and will have pirate-ship beds and buccaneers’ accessories.   Like most moderate resorts at Disney the pirate rooms will include two double-size beds, table/chair set, and a vanity area with two sinks.
