Did you know you can actually get a haircut at the Barber Shop on Main Street?

Lots of parents like to have their child’s first hair cut take place there.  I’ve got to admit we visited the Magic Kingdom for years and never knew you could get a haircut there.  When I did find out I figured the wait time must be huge.  And, during periods, it is.  You can’t make a reservation.  It’s first come, first serve.  But I’m sure it’s a real treat — and something to do during ‘off season’ when the wait isn’t so bad.

Harmony Barber Shop is located near the Emporium on Main Street USA and has those signature candy-striped pole outside.  Kids getting their  “First Haircuts” receive special treats like pixie dust, bubbles, Mickey Mouse stickers and an extra-special “My 1st Haircut” set of Mouse Ears.  Haircuts for children are $14 and adults are $17.
