Carpal Tunnel Relief

I spend a great deal of time at the computer — my online business requires me to do so — our homeschooling day requires me to do so. I also spend a lot of time doing repetitive hand movements throughout the day maintaining the household. When my three youngest children were all in diapers I spent even more time with laundry and other tasks than I do now — along with the computer work. At that time I was diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome. Thankfully, I had a doctor who recommended conservative treatment options rather than surgery. I had to wear a wrist brace throughout the day — and was told it was even more important to wear a night brace while sleeping to prevent my wrist from clenching and causing more problems.
What is Carpal Tunnel Syndrome? It’s when the median nerve (which runs down your forearm into your hand) becomes pinched or pressed — and your wrist hurts — usually, alot! Now, that may not be a very good scientific definition — but the majority of people know what it is when they experience it. If you have pain in your wrist that occurs even if you are not moving it may be carpal tunnel syndrome — especially if you are one of the 180 million Americans who work at a job which requires repetitive movements regularly.
I noticed lately my wrist is beginning to ache again — I should make a doctor’s appointment to get this checked out.

Are you planning on starting your own blog soon? Are you looking to host your blog on your own web hosting plan?
If so, you may want to check out several different hosting companies before jumping into any contracts with any one company. There can be a lot of differences among the large variety of hosting companies available for bloggers.
It’s important to ask someone you really trust about their web hosting. Searching online you will find plenty of ‘reviews’ of various hosting companies — but often these reviewers have a financial stake in your choice.

My son (the one who graduated from college in May) is now without a car. He called us while we were at the beach about a possible new ‘lead’ for a used car. LOL … my husband almost hung up on him.
His old Nissan was towed away last week after receiving several parking violations. It had failed inspection because of a power window that would not go up and down any more (can’t believe they failed him for that). It would have cost $350 to fix it — and the car had other problems as well. It just wasn’t worth fixing — it was 17 years old and had nearly 200,000 miles on it. It sounded like a time bomb ready to explode.
He needs a good, used car — cheap! He’s had a few leads on a used car — first a Infinity that was just a bit out of his price range, then a Honda — it too out of his price range…. now finally he has a possible lead on a Chevy Cavalier — that would be under $2,000.
