How exciting!

Lately, when I’ve made reservation at Disney the cast member asks: “are you celebrating anything special?” I’ve been reluctant to even mention anything.  Why?  Because when I have they haven’t exactly done anything.at.all.  Very disappointing.  Especially when I have arranged for them to do something and then it never happened.

Now today I read that they are instituting a ‘Character Call’ for special occasions.  That’s nice.   I hope it really does work out.

Here are the details:   If your are staying at a Disney resort and celebrating a special occasion you will receive  a voicemail from a Disney character through your hotel room phone.

Special occasions include:  birthdays, romantic celebrations, or a general celebration voicemail.

Just let mention your special occasion at the time of your booking.  There is no extra charge for this.
