Harmony Barber Shop
Did you know you can actually get a haircut at the Barber Shop on Main Street?
Lots of parents like to have their child’s first hair cut take place there. I’ve got to admit we visited the Magic
Kingdom for years and never knew you could get a haircut there. When I did find out I figured the wait time must be huge. And, during periods, it is. You can’t make a reservation.
It’s first come, first serve. But I’m sure it’s a real treat — and something to do during ‘off season’ when the wait isn’t so bad.
Harmony Barber Shop is located near the Emporium on Main Street USA and has those signature candy-striped pole outside. Kids getting their “First Haircuts” receive special treats like pixie dust, bubbles, Mickey Mouse stickers and an extra-special “My 1st Haircut” set of Mouse Ears. Haircuts for children are $14 and adults are $17.

Isn’t this Disney tree too cute! I think it’s a perfect gift for that Disney fan who has everything — what a great idea for Christmas. You know, the person who never says what they want so you have to try to find something ‘unique.’ This animated tabletop Disney Christmas decoration celebrates The Wonderful World of Disney and is available from Hawthorne Village at Collectibles Today.
This collectible item is 16 inches high, plays music, lights up, and rotates. It features many of my favorite Disney characters including Mickey and Minnie, Donald Duck, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Bambi, Pinocchio and many more.
This is a hand-numbered collectible — with a matching certificate authenticating it as an original from Hawthorne Village. To see a bigger picture of this collectible be sure to visit Collectible Today by clicking here. You can zoom in and out to see all the fine details.

Disney Pin Collecting

For years we didn’t get into the Disney Pin Collecting frenzy. But then my daughter got to that age where she wanted to start collecting them.
She started her collection about 2 years ago and has been slowly adding to her collection. I noticed the price of pins seems to keep going up and up. She wanted to buy some online at the Disney Store but the prices were just too much. So we searched online and found the PinSeller.com — the prices are about $3 a pin — way more reasonable than the $8, $10, $12 and up at other places. We’re ordered a set of pins and they arrived within two days and were perfect. We have been very pleased with the PinSeller. Here’s a picture of my daughter’s Disney pin collection:
