Harmony Barber Shop
Did you know you can actually get a haircut at the Barber Shop on Main Street?
Lots of parents like to have their child’s first hair cut take place there. I’ve got to admit we visited the Magic
Kingdom for years and never knew you could get a haircut there. When I did find out I figured the wait time must be huge. And, during periods, it is. You can’t make a reservation.
It’s first come, first serve. But I’m sure it’s a real treat — and something to do during ‘off season’ when the wait isn’t so bad.
Harmony Barber Shop is located near the Emporium on Main Street USA and has those signature candy-striped pole outside. Kids getting their “First Haircuts” receive special treats like pixie dust, bubbles, Mickey Mouse stickers and an extra-special “My 1st Haircut” set of Mouse Ears. Haircuts for children are $14 and adults are $17.

I had NO idea they did real haircuts! What a neat idea though. Of course, my luck, my child would have then wanted to have ALL of their future haircuts at Disney!
Hmmm… Disney Land and a haircut :]
Awesome
I have been there so many times and I had no idea.
I have been a disney fan forever. I started bringing my daughters there when they were 2 & 4 and have been there every year since. We never knew about the barber shop! Now, my 1 year old son Joseph will get his first haircut there in August… In spite of what daddy says, even if it means his hair will look like a girl’s by the time we arrive!
