We did make it to the restaurant in time for the birthday dinner — and both birthday boys had a great time. Here’s they are enjoying the cake and Happy Birthday sung in Italian at the Macaroni Grill:
Dinner was delicious and we all had a great time. Even my granddaughter stayed awake the entire time — she’s usually in bed by 7 p.m. it seems. Here she is:
I, however, still do not have a running car — we’re off to get a battery today. Hopefully, that is the issue and not something more serious.
After that my husband and I are planning to catch a new movie that was just released yesterday. We haven’t gone to the movies alone in a long time. We’re planning on seeing “Fireproof.” I’ll let you know how it goes. Here’s the trailer for the movie:


I love Macaroni Grill. At the MG in our area, there is a lady who walks around and basically sings opera style. It is pretty cool….and definitely post about the Fireproof. I am very interested to hear about it!

That movie sounds very good, we don’t go to movie theaters but I will be looking for it when it comes out on dvd.
