I think that no matter what the results are of this election, it’s going to be a history making election. I give McCain props for picking a woman – but at the same time he bashed Obama for his age and inexperience. This woman is younger than Obama and also doesn’t have the experience. Not saying that she won’t do well…. just saying that it’s politics as usual. She is very much against women’s rights and I’m not sure how I feel about that.

I am stoked about a woman VP. It’s not all about politics, but that fact that she brings different ideals & such to the table. Yes, either party is going to make history, but I’m voting for the McCain/Palin ticket!!

Honestly, I think it’s the Republican Party’s attempt to compete with the Democrats having a Black man running for office. With all the hype over Obama and Hilary potentially being the first _______ to be President, I think the Republicans are just trying to milk the novelty of a woman running for all its worth.

Do people REALLY believe it’s an innocent coincidence that a Republican chose a woman for vice president in the same year that the Democrats had a woman AND the first African-American running?
…I think not.

Seriously… I don’t think this election is about competence anymore–it’s just about creating a historical landmark.

That’s not to say that Palin isn’t competent…but I honestly don’t believe her competence is the reason why she was chosen.

I think its great. Shes got a grasp on things and shes also a hard working woman. I honestly think those two are going to be a powerhouse!

I say good for him!!! It’s about time we start getting some more women involved on the big side of politics. Being governor already she’s got a grasp on running things. She’s obviously family oriented which is very important to be able to understand the peoples needs. Good choice McCain good choice!!!!

I definately believe that we need new people in the White House or at least the goverment. A woman can do some great things for our country especially when it comes to famlies and children.

I just saw an interview she did and before becoming mayor of her town she was a soccer mom.
