Crazy Week

It has been a crazy week. It started with having to take my minivan to the mechanic for an emissions problem and possible AC problem. You see, on the way back from the beach some of those warnings lights started flashing and then wouldn’t shut off. The car was running fine so we decided to chance it and continue the whole ride home (3 hours). We didn’t have any problems… thank goodness.
We took the car into our mechanic and he said everything was okay. Apparently, I had not tighten the gas cap tight enough — and it can cause emissions problems.
The other warning light that I thought had something to do with the AC was really one of those lights telling you to get a required maintenance check. I’m glad it wasn’t the AC — a three hour trip home from the beach with three kids could have been a disaster.
Glad your van is ok. Our air conditioner is in need of a re-charge but that will wait until next year. I will keep the company name on my bookmarks for dh that works on cars.
