I’m a terrible homeschooling mom — guess what I did to finish off our school year?
All three kids had dental checkups scheduled for yesterday afternoon. Spent nearly three hours at the dentist office. Not fun. Honestly, I didn’t plan it that way — it was the only appointment available way back 6 months ago where I could get all three kids back-to-back appointments.
The ‘princess’ (my only daughter) went in first and came out glowing — never a cavity in her life (and she doesn’t always brush her teeth as she should!). Then, my son came out with one tiny cavity needing filling. Then, the ‘baby’ of the family — uhmmmmm — as the dentist said ‘he obviously has a sweet tooth’ — too many cavities to mention — needing two more 45 minute appointments to fix – urghhhhhhhhhh
And all three need a orthodontic evaluation — two definitely need braces probably within the year.
