It’s hockey night at our house tonight. The Philadelphia Flyers are in the finals with the Washington Capitals.
We are Philadelphia Flyers’ fans all the way — YET we live right outside Washington DC! Capitals fans are all around us!
My husband and I grew up in Philadelphia. Our oldest son was born there but never really lived there — other than the first six weeks of his life. Yet, somehow the Philadelphia spirit is in his blood. He doesn’t miss a game — whether it’s the Flyers, Phillies, or Eagles! He’s here tonight to watch the game since we have the larger screen tv set. LOL
I’m hearing a lot of cheering in the background … here’s hoping they win!!!! (can you guess I’m not much a sport’s fan myself) …. ugh …. I think the caps just scored ….. it ain’t going to pretty here tonight … the game is tied right now.
