I would have to say that Cruella DeVille is my favorite villainesse. Anyone who wants to make coats out of puppies but ends up on her behind deserves my vote. Plus… she has the best song…
I really enjoyed Susan Saranden as the evil stepmother in Enchanted. I’m still amazed at myself…. I’ve watched this show dozens of times already and still laugh every time I see it!
I was surprised at how much I enjoyed Enchanted. At first I thought it was kinda corny … but it quickly grew on me.

Oh come on, Susan Sarandon is fantastic but she was nowhere near the villainess of Cruella DeVille. I prefer the animated version but Glenn Close was evil incarnate.

I *love* Disney movies but have issues with the fact that most of the villains are women, such as Cruella da Ville, Ursula, Maleficent and Cinderella’s step-mother and step-sisters. Those are all great characters but when I think about that, combined with the frequency with which mothers are absent from the narratives, I have to say that I have two favorite villains: Jafar and Captain Hook. Jafar’s transformation into a snake towards the end of Aladin is the only thing to match some of the other villains for its ability to frighten us. Hook’s villainy is much tamer by comparison and seems quite the sort one would find in a nursery tale.

As much as I enjoyed all the other villains, Captain Hook is by far my favorite.

My favorite Villain is of course Malificent…beautiful and evil
Strangely, I have always had a tender spot in my heart for wicked women. The wicked step mother, Cruella Deville, Ursula…They were much more compelling than the needy, pretty, passive disney heroines.
My favorite villian would be Davy Jones from POC. I think he is such a scary, yet creative character who showed a softer side by being so very in love at one point. I liked that he had a real reason behind his bitterness and hatred.
Cruella Deville – I swear the person who created this character had to met my friend Elena. They could be twins
big multi-colored hair, outrageous clothes, sporty car, high heels and lots of of makeup. The only difference is my
friend loves animals.
